For nearly 15 years Matt Stivers has scaled the periphery of the California musical landscape in and out of rock n' roll bands and diverse musical projects as a multi-instrumentalist. "I wouldn't trade any of it away," he says. "The relationships and friends along the way have been very educational." Within the last 5 years, Stivers has found time for writing songs and continues to make records. "Taking an indefinite break from playing live has helped," he explains. "But I'm itching to get back at some point."
