Every once in awhile you come across a group of musicians who still know what it means to be "a band" in the true sense of the word. Green Vinyl Dream is one such band. Brought together by longstanding friendship and a shared musical vision, these guys bring more to the table than talent. The band-Vocalist/Guitarist John Hajewski, Guitarist Rick Holton, Bassist/Vocalist Rick Zaccaro and Drummer Jeff Heintz- formed in the San Fernando Valley in the mid-'90s and quickly began garnering attention. GVD was named one of the Top Ten unsigned acts of the year by Music Connection Magazine, and their debut indie CD earned them the "Most Outstanding Indie Album" award at the L.A. Music Awards. The band also won an award for one of their songs from the prestigious John Lennon Songwriting Contest. That song, "Everybody's Here," is often a GVD show closer.
GVD is a true collective - four like-minded, talented musicians, sincere and serious about what they do.
