Double Naught Spies

The Double Naught Spies were formed in the spring of 1996 and include former members of Atomic Boy (Victory Records) and The Visionaries (Wrecking Ball Records). Rick Hromadka, Ed Jaffe, Ron Pak, and Andrew Komanacky are a fixture on the "LA Pop Scene" with their Beatles/70's rock influence and melodic vocal arrangements.
Songs from their debut CD have been used in several movies and TV shows like the upcoming Ropewalk (Winter Films) featuring music by The Who and Counting Crows. NBC's Thirdwatch and the movie PiƱata (Trimark Pictures), which also hired songwriter Rick Hromadka to write a new 'Spies song for the film open. Songs from The Shoephone Conspiracy have also appeared on compilations like the International Pop Overthrow Vol. 1&2 (Del-Fi), Swedish pop label Yesterday Girl Records' Pop Under The Surface Vol. 2, Germanys' Screaming Apple Records' Popgun 2000, and 1999's Wheat From Chaff Festival CD. Rick Hromadka has also penned tunes for a variety teen shows like Breaker High, Sweet Valley High, and the Power Rangers.
